An amazing curation of left-leaning books. I was a little overwhelmed - walking both and forth between sections. Although I forced myself to whittle down my choices to 2 books, I was pleased with both books I ended up getting. 1 was about Toronto, the other taking place in Toronto and from a publisher in Toronto (Invisible Publishing). It’s always nice to get books I wouldn’t normally find at my local bookstore.
Love the store, the variety and divers of book selection! Easy to follow and you get lost in the unique selection of books they have. I can never leave empty handed and I always go back for more book exploration! You definitely need to visit this bookshop!!
My favorite bookstore in the city. They make me pick up books I’ve never heard of and end up buying and loving. So well curated and thoughtful staff.
Lovely little place that supports communities regardless of how tiny. They give a safe place for them. They have a great collection of books, so their is definitely something that will catch your attention. I suggest this place over any big corporate bookshops.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!! Loved this indie spot. Great message, and the commitment to equity and inclusion is very obvious and welcoming :) got great help from the folks there, and got some great books! Hope to come back soon!
Great selection of books for all ages, excellent friendly service
They were fantastic here. I was looking for Black children’s books and staff helped me get the best selection. Highly recommend!
The only bookstore where the often tucked-away-in-a-corner disability studies section (if the bookstore even has one) is both front and center, and offers a wide variety. Immediate favourite bookstore!
